Director Jayendra who made 180 with Siddharth, Nithya Menen and Priya Anand would soon start his second feature film, but this time in Telugu. We indulged in a brief chat with Jayendra:

About the film?
This is only in Telugu and not a bilingual. It is basically a happy film and we are all delighted to be doing it. It is a lively feel good film and the atmosphere also resonates with happiness. We would begin shoot in July and would be shooting in India.

Producers
LA Talkies from Los Angeles will be bankrolling this venture. They are currently distributing Telugu films.

Why a long gap after 180?
After 180, I got busy with other things and that’s the reason, there is a gap. We had done a couple of scripts and finally decided to do a romantic film now.

Kalyanaram Nandamuri
This is a film that would give him a different make over in terms of the romantic role that he is going to play. He is very excited about it and so are we. It would be a completely different role from what he has played so far.

Heroine and other cast members
As regards heroine and other cast members, we have shortlisted a few but would announce the details in June.

Suba again
The writers of the movie are Suba and they have co-written the script with me. They also wrote 180 with me.

Collaborating with PC Sreeram
PC Sreeram and I have worked together for more than 25 years and we have made 600 ad films. Therefore, working together is natural for us.
