'SIVASNEXT' WOULD BE A MUST-WATCH THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE

Arguably the biggest news this past week was regarding Sivakarthikeyan's new film with first time director Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The big names involved in this project such as P C Sreeram, Resul Pookutty, Anirudh, Muthuraj, make-up man Sean Foot and Ruben have already sent the hype meter soaring to dizzying heights. We have some interesting tidbits about this film 

 

- The director Bakkiyaraj happens to be a former associate of Sundar C and Atlee. It is heard that Atlee was a key factor in initiating this film.

 

- The film is yet to be titled and the name 'Badam Pista' was not even considered, contrary to many reports.

 

- The casting is going on in full swing. The film would feature one heroine and the shoot may begin in November this year.

 

- The film would be an entertaining rom-com and Anirudh is said to be very happy with the scope for composing a full love album.

 

- Sivakarthikeyan would be seen in a different dimension and there is already a huge buzz about his lady makeover.

 

- The film would be a 2016 release and the team is under no release pressure as they consider it to be a once in a lifetime film bringing so many big names together. The scripting has been done and the pre-production is going on in full swing. The team would take its time to deliver their best.

 

- There is a strong purpose in having all the big names on board as the team doesn't want to just flaunt all these names for the sake of making a big budget film. The film is expected to be a great experience in both the visual and sound departments and will supposedly be a must-watch in a cinema hall.
