VENKAT PRABHU - THE MILESTONE DIRECTOR IN EVERY SENSE

Venkat Prabhu is most famous for churning out happy-go-lucky films which become commercial blockbusters. Apparently and interestingly, the director seems to have a penchant for one more thing – being part of his crew’s career milestones.

Venkat Prabhu who directed Mankatha - Thala Ajith’s 50th film, was also the director of Yuvan’s 100th film - Biriyani. Incidentally, Biriyani turned out to be Stunt Silva’s 100th movie too.

Keeping up with this tradition, his current directorial venture Masss offers two special moments for editor Praveen KL and cameraman RD Rajasekhar. Masss is editor Praveen's 50th movie while it is camera man RD Rajasekhar’s 25th.

This is a happy coincidence that Venkat Prabhu is proud of, and he also said that he wants to direct Suriya's 50th film too in a recent press meet.
