Kamal Haasan's next film after Paapanasam is titled as Thoongaavanam

Kamal says, "Even before Rajkamal made an announcement, few highly imaginative people have been creating news about my next venture ! Before things get too crazy, let me confirm it myself !

Our next project will be 'Thoongaavanam', a thriller. There are rumors that I'm donning the role of a cop, but the actual story is not what they say. I have read their versions, this will be a different project with international quality.

Sanu Varghese will do the camera with Ghibran doing the music and Vijay Shankar dealing the cuts. My assistant Mr. Rajesh will direct this venture."
