Some
people are born to be famous and their talent shines
through even at a tender age. Some of the biggest
stars today began their careers while they were still
kids. Having achieved fame at a young age, they faced
more pressure than their contemporaries especially
during the awkward teen years. A few succumbed to
the unrelenting expectations and disappeared from
the public eye while others have gone on to own the
big screen almost as though they were born to perform.

Haasan
The image of an adorable little boy earnestly
singing “Ammavum neeye appavum neeyae”
is familiar and dear to every Tamil film fan
because even at such a tender age, Kamal Haasan
in Kalathur Kannamma managed to make your
eyes wet with tears. Not surprisingly, he
won the President’s gold medal for this
performance. As an adult he went on to become
one of the greatest actors this country has
produced.
