The trailer of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming "Kaaki Sattai" has already surpassed over 1.7 million views in the past 10 days! The fast-paced look at the much-loved star's first time donning a police uniform shows him combining daring fight scenes and punch dialogues with his familiar comfort zone of comedy. The trailer even cites a reference to the famous Thala line "it's just the beginning", implying that the stunts briefly shown, is just a small look at an action-packed film, and hinting that this could be the first of many times that Sivakarthikeyan saves the day, as an out and out action star.

 

Sivakarthikeyan's bold turn as a confident cop is even garnering online praise from his industry seniors, like Khushboo Sundar. The veteran star and vocal social media maven recently tweeted that it is "so refreshing to see Sivakarthikeyan playing an action hero, and he is damn good."

 

Kaaki Sattai, a Wunderbar Films production, is planned for a February release.
