''Adhaaru Adhaaru is not just a dance number''

Ever since the release of the Adhaaru Adhaaru song from Yennai Arindhaal, the fans have been celebrating the number, especially for its lyrics. Vignesh Sivan, the man who penned the lyrics opens up about working in the song.

“It has always been my dream to assist Gautham sir. When I got the call from him, I was in cloud nine. I drafted a basic version of the song with him at the shooting spot itself. From there, Harris Jayaraj Sir guided me through the final version. He made certain changes in the lyrics for its sounding which enhanced the song. I am an amateur. 'Lyric writer' is a big word for me.

“This song is not just a dance number. The song carries the description of the characters in the film. Like any other Gautham sir’s song, this song will also help to carry the narration forward. I was so conscious that I was writing for ‘Thala’ Ajith. Hence, I started the song with a positive note - ‘ Ellamae inimae nallathaan nadakkum’. I am inspired by the response and support that ‘Thala’ fans pour in for the song."
