By Kaushik L M | Jun 15, 2015Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil News Stories
We had already declared Kaaka Muttai as a Hit in our Chennai city box office report earlier in the day, with a high likelihood of a verdict upgrade in the coming week. The film is estimated to have grossed around 1.16 crores in Chennai city, and it is also tax free.
From all over Tamil Nadu, Kaaka Muttai continues to remain steady and strong, and at the end of 10 days, the gross is reported to be close to 8.4 crores. The all India gross after 10 days is said to be around 9.9 crores to 10 crores.
For a film made on a shoestring budget, these numbers are spectacular indeed. Kaaka Muttai is a nice case of good content being met with handsome commercial success too. Congrats team.
