''THE RESPONSE TO ROMEO JULIET HAS BEEN OVERWHELMING''

Among the two new big Tamil releases, Romeo Juliet has taken a solid opening and the film has been registering good occupancies in all the release centers across Chennai city since Friday morning. The weekend has been going full in all the main screens across the city and the film looks to be in for a very good opening weekend total. The lead pair, the romance genre, good marketing and the hit songs have all played a part in this opening.

 

We spoke to director Lakshman on his thoughts regarding the response.

 

"The response has been overwhelming and exactly like what I predicted. The audience have clapped for all the scenes that I thought they would, and I could also guess the scenes which got a plain response from them. Some of the scenes were taken straight from real life incidents from my friends' lives. They were original scenes !

 

The screen count for the film has been increased and I would really like to thank Ravi sir for the trust he placed in me, Hansika and my entire production crew and team. I have a lot of scripts ready and am waiting for the next offer."
