Dhanush's VIP - The detailed screen counts
Jul 17, 2014 Dhanush's Velai Illa Pattathari is set for a grand release tomorrow and the advance bookings for the film are top-notch in Chennai city across all the single screens and prime multiplexes. The first weekend is close to being completely sold out and the film is likely to notch up among the very best opening weekend numbers this year and possibly Dhanush's best in his career till date.

North Arcot / South Arcot - 60 screens
Chengalpet - 60 screens
Kovai and surroundings - 60 screens
Madurai and surroundings - 35 screens
Trichy and surroundings - 28 screens
Salem and surroundings - 50 screens
Thirunelveli - Kanyakumari - 15 screens
Total Tamil Nadu - around 330 to 350 screens with last minute increases possible
Kerala - around 75 screens
Karnataka - around 60 screens
This is by far Dhanush's biggest release and Escape Artists Motion Pictures are mighty confident about notching up another success after their recent Maan Karate.
