“I am glad Dhanush remembered me”

Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) is directed by cinematographer turned director Velraj which also happens to be Dhanush’s silver jubilee film. The film is all set to release soon where Amala Paul plays the lady lead.

There is a new entrant in this film in the name of Hrishikesh who has a prestigious lineage in the form of K Subramanyam as his great grandfather and S V Ramanan as his grandfather. Cinema in Hrishikesh’s genes does not just stop with this. He is also the cousin of the young music director Anirudh Ravichander.

The cute looking Hrishikesh plays Dhanush's brother's role in VIP and is quite thankful to the Aadukalam hero and Velraj for having given him this opportunity. Hrishikesh says, “I had told Dhanush a long while ago that I was interested in acting. It is very nice of him to remember this and invite me for audition for the role”.

Velai Illa Pattathari has music scored by Anirudh and the film is ready to hit the screens soon.
