Biker Alisha Abdullah, who is making her acting debut with the Atharvaa – Priya Anand starrer, Irumbu Kuthirai, is India's first female racing champ. She, also, works as an Operations Manager in the Chennai based racing and karting team, Dark Don Racing.

 

She, about the condition of sports in India, in a recent interview, said, “I beat men in car and bike races. I am the country’s first female racing champ. But I get just a mandatory press mention. But I sign a movie and I get two columns on the front page of every newspaper.”

 

Well, apparently, Cinema is bigger than even sports (that are not Cricket!)
