Will Dhanush break in for the first time with VIP ?

The month of July would be peppered with two much expected releases in the form of Dhanush's Velai Illa Pattathari (18th July) and Karthi's Madras (25th July). Both the movies would be released in the US by ATMUS Entertainment.

 

The distributors expect both the films to cross the 100,000 USD gross collections mark. Dhanush's previous few releases like Maryan and '3' grossed more than 90,000 USD and if VIP can cross the 100K USD mark in the US, it would mark the first time that a Dhanush movie has managed to do so.

 

Karthi's last release Biriyani did a gross of around 126,000 USD while his previous Azhaguraja managed around 54,000 USD. Madras is expected to put up a good show.
