Arivazhagan’s Vallinam, as long as Vijay Sethupathi’s Rummy

Arivazhagan’s Vallinam and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Rummy are expected to release this weekend. As far as genres are concerned, both movies are poles apart. While Rummy is a period drama, the Arivazhagan venture is a sports action flick. But the similarity that both the projects share is the run time. Both movies are more or less 2 hours and 20 minutes long.
 

Balakrishnan K’s Rummy features Vijay Sethupathi, Inigo Prabhakaran, Gayathrie, Iyshwarya Ramesh and Parotta Soori in the lead roles. Imman has given few extremely good songs and the BGM is expected to be another stunner.
 

On the other hand, Vallinam stars Nakul, Mrudhula Baskar, Atul Kulkarni, Jagan and Anupama Kumar in the central roles. Composer Thaman, cinematographer Bhaskar and editor Sabu Joseph have done their parts for the film.
