Santhanam's Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham brings cheer to the trade
May 11, 2014Santhanam's Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham released yesterday in close to 300 screens in Tamil Nadu. There was a little uncertainty over yesterday's morning shows in some city multiplexes, due to technical issues but all theaters started playing the movie without any hassles, from the noon show onwards. The occupancy grew as the day progressed and the first day numbers promise to be good. With today being a Sunday, we can expect full houses in all the centers.
SR Prabhu of Studio Green (the distributors) tweeted "#vallavanukupullumayutham got good opening across Tamilnadu in 300 screens. Thanks for all the support despite short time release"
The co-producers of the movie PVP Cinemas are also apparently happy with the first day response. The early reviews for the movie have been decent with the first half particularly being enjoyed by all sections of moviegoers.
