Will Santhanam repeat the festival magic?

Santhanam's next movie as a hero - Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham, a remake of Maryada Ramanna, SS Rajamouli’s 2010 Telugu blockbuster, is gearing up for a Tamil New Year release.

Sources, close to the unit, say that the movie has come out well. Right now, the team is on a break and the next schedule of the movie will begin in Kumbakonam after Santhanam’s birthday on January 21. It is to be noted that the movie was earlier remade in Hindi as Son of Sardaar, starring Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt.

Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya produced and starred by Santhanam was one of 2013's most successful projects and it released for Pongal. Looks like, he is all set to repeat his festival magic again on Tamil New Year's day in 2014.
