Santhanam gets clean and bigger !

Santhanam has shouldered many films with his comedy track but Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham (VPA) will have Santhanam taking the centre stage as the hero. Directed by actor turned director Srinath, VPA has just been awarded a ‘U’ by the censor officials today. The talk in the trade suggests that the family entertainer is set to be a huge money spinner at the box office.

The buzz surrounding this film in the market looks to have influenced Studio Green’s decision to acquire the release rights of the film for Tamil Nadu. The film has been produced by yet another big banner, PVP Cinemas, indicating the business potential of Santhanam as a hero.

Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham is the Tamil remake of  SS Rajamouli's Telugu superhit film Maryada Rammana, and will be hitting screens this weekend with a May 10th release.
