NKPK maker comes up with a shorter title

Director of the much acclaimed Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (NKPK), Balaji Tharaneetharan has been working on his next script until now. We now hear that the director has named his next, Seethakathi.

Seethakathi was a wealthy philanthropist and Tamil literature enthusiast. His contribution to poet Umaru Pulavar in writing Seera Puranam, the life history of Prophet Mohammed, is still considered unparalleled.

However, we hear that this movie is no biopic of the philanthropist. But, the central knot of the film will explain its connect to the title. Also, in an earlier conversation, Balaji had in fact hinted us that he was working on a script about artistes, who have won the test of time.

Our sources inform us that the director is thinking of maintaining the same technical crew that worked in NKPK. However, official announcements and confirmation can be expected in a month’s time.
