''I just hope Mani Sir makes Roja 2''

Madhubala, the actor who played the title role in Maniratnam’s Roja, is all set to make her comeback in Balaji Mohan’s Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, starring Dulquer Salman and Nazriya Nazim. 
 

She said, in a recent event, “During the time of Roja, I was this naïve, young girl who had so many reasons to complain about – the 4 AM shoot, the 5 AM shoot. I never realized what I was doing. But, from then and after, I have always been addressed as the Roja Girl. It is generally told that people don’t remember the roles actors play, but it was not the case with me. Thank you Mani Sir for Roja. And, in the world of Don 1 and Don 2, Krish 1 and Krish 2, I just hope Mani Sir makes Roja 2.”
 

When asked about her comeback, she said, “I don’t like the word comeback, and I am not making a comeback. I left the scene unsatisfied, and now I have come to take what belongs rightfully to me.”
 

In Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, she plays a writer, and her role is touted to be a very important character in the movie.
