Kappal - Sailing strong

The Karthik G Krish directed Kappal is making all the right noises at the box-office. Made at a controlled budget, the film is a breezy rom-com targeted primarily at the urban audiences. Looking at the way the film has performed till date, the result must be pleasing for sure.

 

The film is reported to have grossed around 1.8 crores in TN after the first 4 days. The film is tax-free thanks to the exemption, and the initial U certificate from the censors.

 

We hear that Kappal is doing well even on the weekdays with full houses across the leading multiplexes in Chennai city. Director Karthik, the lead pair Vaibhav and Sonam, the producers I Studios Entertainment and the distributors Shankar's S Pictures must be beaming in delight.
