Shankar's Kappal is all set to sail

Kappal, claimed to be a love storm waiting to hit shores this Christmas, is apparently a movie that caters to all center audience. Under director Shankar's production banner, S Pictures, the film is directed and written by Karthik G Krish and stars Vaibhav and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles.

An actor who never goes unnoticed - Karunakaran is seen in the supporting role in Kappal. He features as an aggressive young village boy who is against marriage and love. He says "I have danced in this film which is much tougher job for me. Dancing for the famous ‘Oora vittu oora vanthu’ song remix is an unforgettable experience. Just because I didn’t let Vaibhav and Sonam Bajwa stay together in the film, I had to bear the curse of appearing for my own marriage late - at 5am on the day of the marriage. When my friends asked me where my honeymoon was, I use to tell them that it was in 'Kappal'. May be they thought I meant the cruise."

Vinnaithandi Varuvaya and Poda Podi fame VTV Ganesh is another actor who has a different fan following for his movies. In Kappal he plays the usual angel who supports the leads’ love affair. He says "‘Kappal’ will be another VTV for me. This film will definitely do well in the centers.”
