A deviator from Shankar's school

The trailer of Damaal Dumeel starts with three characters, Manikandan aka Moneykandan (Vaibhav Reddy), Kamatchi Sundaram (Sayaji Shinde) and Ilavarasu (Kota Srinivasa Rao), as the faces of a dice rolled over a Snake and Ladder board. So, the movie should be an interesting tale of baits and decoys among the three.
 

The movie is directed by debutant Shree, a former associate of Shankar - hence, no surprises when there are scenes about graft in the trailer. However, the director surprises us when the hero speaks dialogues supporting corruption. The hero says, “I am a very ordinary man who bribes to get things done. No one has the rights to question me.”
 

Damaal Dumeel’s sharp dialogues, interesting visuals and good music promise a rollicking ride!
