Ilayathalapathy’s Kaththi will not back off

The latest big news is that Aascar Films Ravichandran seems to have publicly announced in Chennai that his upcoming production venture, Ai directed by Shankar will hit the screens on Diwali 2014. A.R.Rahman’s music for the film is expected to be launched on a massive scale on the 15^th of September.
 

Meanwhile, Kaththi is also being planned for a Diwali release and when we contacted our sources close to the team, we were informed that team Kaththi is in no intention to back off from the Diwali race. They are also glad to have a head-on with a project as big as Shankar’s Ai.
 

With two of the most anticipated movies of the year going against each other, it looks like the enthusiasts will have a packed Diwali this year…
