Students rise against Kaththi and Pulipaarvai

The audio launch of Praveen Gandhi’s Pulipaarvai happened today at the Satyam Cinemas. The film is supposedly based on the death of Balachandran, son of LTTE chief, Prabhakaran. Towards the end of the audio launch event, a group of students, who were present in the hall started protesting against the movie.

The group also demanded the arrest of Seeman, who was also one among the several guests of the event, and the ban of Pulipaarvai and Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Kaththi.
 

The chaos came to an end after Police nabbed the protestors and took them into custody.
