When Ajith predicted a sureshot hit for Vijay

Director Vijay is among the few lucky directors to have worked with most of the happening superstars of the current generation such as Vijay, Vikram and Ajith. While he worked in Kireedom with Ajith in 2007, his recent outing was with Vijay in Thalaivaa last year. 

 

The director in a recent interview said that he still shares great vibes with Ajith thanks to their Kireedom bond and that Thala has been regularly encouraging him by seeing all his movies. He also mentioned that Vijay was an effortless, fantastic and flawless actor and that Thalaivaa would be a memorable experience forever despite all the release troubles it went through. 

 

Interestingly, Director Vijay shared that when he met Ajith at the shooting spot of Arrambam in Mumbai, he played the Vangana Vanakkangana song from Thalaivaa to him. Ajith was in fact among the first to listen to the song and he straightaway predicted that the song would become a sure-fire hit. It indeed became one of the biggest chartbusters last year.
