Karthi and Anurag Kashyap together - Not Happening!

Karthi , whose Biriyani releases this Friday, said in a recent interview that he had earlier been offered roles in a couple of Hindi movies by Anurag Kashyap, the director of critically acclaimed hard-hitting movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Gulaal, and Dev D, but because of his lack of understanding of the North – the language and the culture – he turned down the offers. He also said, “I am not keen to get into Bollywood at this point. I am comfortable working in the south.”
 

Karthi said he has known Anurag Kashyap since the time he was part of Mani Ratnam’s direction team.
