When mom coached her daughter to be a 'dhasi'
Mar 22, 2013Karthika Nair made her Malayalam debut with the movie Makaramanju in 2011 and she was paired opposite cinematographer Santosh Sivan in this film which was about the celebrated painter Raja Ravi Verma’s life.
Karthika had played a ‘dhasi’ in this movie and she was apparently coached and trained by her mom Radha as it was a substantial role that too so early in her career. Radha showed a lot of references to her daughter and also gave her tips on how to pull off the role.
Now this movie is being dubbed in Tamil as Apsaras and fans will get a chance to see how well Karthika had performed in the movie.
