Actor Vikram, one of those few south actors who have made a niche for himself  in the north too, opened up about how difficult it is for the south actors to establish themselves in Bollywood. Even Kamal Haasan, after his super hits, Ek Doojhe Ke Liye and Saagar didn’t do many projects in Hindi, he pointed out.
 

He also said that for an actor to be successful in the north, he has to leave the south industry and concentrate completely on the Hindi industry. He picked up Rana Daggubati’s instance, saying that after starting his career in Telugu, he moved on to Bollywood, ‘making no headway’ in the South. “So to work in Bollywood, I have to leave everything here and go there,”  feels Vikram. For a sentimental finish, he added that he just can’t leave the Tamil Industry.   
 

This statement of his created a misunderstanding between him and Rana Daggubatti. A furious Rana in his social page, asked Vikram to “stay put on his own career”. But the gentlemen later talked it out and settled the issue. Rana, in his twitter page said, “Spoke to actor Vikram finally, says it’s a misquote from what he actually said. Glad the air is cleared. Apologies to him and his fans for my harsh reaction.”
