On the occasion of his 39^th birthday Vijay was expected to take part in certain philanthropic activities but that responsibility has been borne by his fan club members today. The reason being that Vijay had committed to shoot for Jilla today, even as the celebrations had reached fever pitch after the release of Thalaivaa’s music and trailer.

However, on the sets of Jilla the spirits were high and the mood was festive with the entire team being treated to sumptuous biryani with all the hospitalities undertaken by Vijay himself. Elsewhere, Vijay’s fans are engaging in charitable activities across the state in the name and goodwill of Vijay.
