Earth shattering welcome for Powerstar!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi was forced to release today, much earlier than planned, because of a shocking leak of nearly 90 minutes of the film a few days back. But the leak and the pirates seem to have had absolutely no effect on the film’s opening as the show of support of fans by thronging to the theatres is driving the film to becoming the biggest blockbuster in the Telugu industry this year. Trade analysts are calling it an ‘earth-shattering’ opening in overseas markets as well.

Theatres in Chennai too saw a lot of avid Powerstar fans welcoming the release by breaking coconuts and cheering the star actor’s name. The film too has lived up to everyone’s expectations and has been getting rave reviews for being a clean family entertainer with sufficient amount of mass moments for Powerstar fans.

Trade circles had labeled the film as a blockbuster even before its release simply because of the involvement of Samantha who is being seen as a lucky charm. Going by the first day feedback there will be no disputing that fact either.

Meanwhile the assistant editor of the film has been apprehended for questioning relating to the leaked footage.
