October Rush causes Pizza 2 to pull out

Deepan Chakravarthy’s Pizza 2- The Villa, starring Ashok Selvan and Sanchita Shetty, which was to release on the 2nd of October, is apparently getting pushed. Talking to the correspondent of Behindwoods, producer CV Kumar, head of Thirukumaran Entertainments said, “Yes we are looking to for a later date. With Raja Rani coming this weekend, Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara on 2nd October and Naiyaandi and Vanakkam Chennai in the following week, we think 2nd wouldn’t be a perfect date for the Villa.”
 

Ask him when is he looking to release the film then, he says, “We are looking for a good 15 days buffer before and after the release of Pizza 2- The Villa. Two weeks after Diwali seems to be a good time to release the film. Lets see...”
