Endrendrum Punnagai is a Multi-Starrer movie – Jiiva, Trisha, Andrea, Santhanam, Vinay, Abhinay & Nassar have acted in it.

Story: First half of the movie deals with 3 friends, who love each other a lot and stay together. They even promise to each other, that they will never get married. Second half deals on how love blossoms between Jiiva & Trisha. Story of the movie was similar to the movies which we have seen, but screenplay was too good and will engage the audience throughout the movie.

Jiiva – Though his previous movies didn’t succeed at the box office, he did justice to his roles in those movies. In this movie, he has done an extremely good job as an egoistic person.  He has given matured performance and this will be one of the best movies in his career. In the scene, where he expresses his love to Trisha without any expression, was the best.

Trisha – She looks too beautiful after VTV in this movie. She doesn't have much opportunity to perform in the first half as she gets introduced only after 30 minutes and the first half travels between 3 friends. In the second half, she has given one of her best performances in her career, as even her eyes talks during the romantic scenes. Chemistry between Jiiva & Trisha was too good.

Andrea – She does the role of a “Model”  & adds glamour to the movie.

Santhanam – After a long time, Santhanam one-liners will make most of the people laugh. His dialogues in the movie were not forced and he doesn't advice Jiiva on how to attract Trisha in this movie.  There was a controversial dialogue in the trailer, in which he asks the female to go for “Rs.1000 or Rs. 2000”. That dialogue had been replaced in the dubbing as “I am into trouble just because of you madam. Please go away”. He compares “MARRIAGE” to Public Toilet. People who are waiting outside wants to enter and people are sitting inside will wish to come outside.

Vinay – It is the best movie in Vinay’s Career. He has done complete justice to the role. The bonding between him, Jiiva & Santhanam was too good. Each and every scene between 3 of them were looking too realistic.

Nassar – Dad & Son Relationship between him and Jiiva was shown in such a way that it doesn’t look melodramatic

Abinay – He appears in 3 -4 scenes as American Return Friend of Trisha and has done good job too.

Music Director Harris Jayaraj – His Background Music was too good after long time. It adds much needed value to this feel good movie. Songs in the movie were good, but if it had been little better, standard of this movie would have been much higher. Songs were quite lengthy, but was picturized superbly.

Editor Praveen & Srikanth  - Movie runs for 150 Minutes. First half speaks about the Friendship between Jiiva, Santhanam & Vinay with lots of comedy scenes, which were not forced. Hence, there was not even a dull moment in the first half, except the songs. In the second half, movie completely turns to be a romantic oriented one, which looks natural. There was just a scene involving Santhanam comedy in the second half, which seems to be forced. Though the movie runs for 150 minutes, it will not test the patience of the audience.

Director Ahmed – He has given a commercial movie with right mix of Love, Comedy, Sentiment & Friendship. Movies which deals with Love, don’t give importance to friendship & viceversa. But, Ahmed has given equal importance to Love & Friendship and thereby, has given a FEEL GOOD ROMANTIC COMEDY movie to Tamil Cinema.

It is surprising to see that movie with big casting was not promoted much and was released suddenly. Hence, there is not much opening for this movie. But, definitely this movie will have good word of mouth and will pick up during this weekend.

Overall, Endrendrum Punnagai is a FEEL GOOD Film, which celebrates friendship in the first half & love in the second half.
