The hearing on the case regarding Thuppakki's title issue has been postponed to July 19. It was originally slated for today. If you remember, Ravi Devan, the director of another upcoming film Kalla Thuppakki had registered his film's title in 2009, even before AR Murugadoss thought of Thuppakki. In his petition, Ravi said that there are possibilities of the audience getting confused with the two films, based on the similar titles.
As a result, the teaser launch and other promo activities of the Vijay starrer will also be postponed. Vijay fans are eager for the first look of Thuppakki and their wait is only getting longer and more agonizing.
