We wish to make good films which will make the audiences, theater owners and distributors happy. Nowadays cinema isn’t name driven or star driven, it all depends on good content. Content is King and we are having a good trend of small budget films doing well.

We have a big team and see a lot of films. After we see them, there are intense discussions and analysis about the viability of the film, regarding their pulling power, release date, marketing and promotion aspects. All the films don’t make that connect and only the few which meet our requirements and expectations are picked up.

The success of our films is not in our hands. We are anyway optimistic and have belief in all our projects. We have achieved an almost 100% success rate till date with the films that we have distributed. They have turned out to be good choices as we also planned out their release dates and other related strategies.

We don’t go by prior track record or experience of the team that we work with. Prior to doing Aadhalaal Kadhal Seiveer, Suseenthiran’s Rajapattai didn’t work at the box-office but we went ahead confidently. And the team of Neram was a really fresh one but we backed them as the product was new.

One thing which we wish to change about the industry is the culture of ‘thiruttu VCDs’. Piracy is a big downer.
