'I have a script ready for Arya' - A.R.Murugadoss - Event Story

The stage was set for the audio launch of Atlee’s Raja Rani at the celebrated Satyham Cinemas. Apart from the director, Atlee, the gathering included the likes of Arya, Jiiva, Sathyaraj, Pandiraj, A.R.Murugadoss, Saravanan, Magizh Thirumeni, Antony, C.V.Kumar, UTV’s Dhananjayan, Lyricist Pa.Vijay and Na.Muthukumar. The event’s hero G.V.Prakash was accompanied by his better half Saindhavi. Much to the dismay of the fans and the media persons Nayanthara and Nazriya Nazim were absent, and so was Jai.

Nearly all of the distinguished guests present spoke of their admiration for Atlee’s remarkable hardwork and involvement as one of Shankar’s assistants. Pandiraj spoke of how the A.D’s of Raja Rani would tell him amazing stories of Atlee’s craftsmanship. Sathyaraj was particularly complimenting of Atlee, having seen him on the sets of Nanban and Jiiva reaffirmed that in his speech and attributed the accolades he received in that film to Atlee. Jiiva went on to joke that there is no room on the street walls for his film’s posters because it was all occupied by Arya’s projects.

A.R. Murugadoss too spoke of how well prepared, clear and level headed Atlee was and the way he went about his business during pre-production, production and now during promotions. Murugadoss also said that he had already written a script for Arya and it was only a matter of time before he ropes the actor in and goes into production. Murugadoss also made a big announcement saying that he had chosen the cameraman of Raja Rani, newcomer George Williams, for his next project, which will have Vijay in the lead.

The film’s hero Arya spoke confidently of the film’s content and its prospects. He said that the portions involving Jai and Sathyan are guaranteed to be everyone’s favorite in the film. Strangely he did not make any statements on his other co-stars Nayanthara and Nazriya. G.V.Prakash kept his speech very short by saying that he had a good time working on this film.

Atlee agreed that he was a gifted and blessed person because his first ever job in the industry was reading a scene for Superstar Rajinikanth, working for Shankar, and then going on to get the confidence of A.R.Murugadoss. He was also excited about the fact that he got exactly the cast that he wanted, so in that sense he considers himself to be very lucky. He said that he had got Rajini’s positive approval for the teaser and he didn’t need anything else.

The audio launch concluded with the revelation of the CD and the event was made more memorable with the screening of the trailer and three full songs’ visuals
