'Kalyana Samayal Saadham is non-vegetarian' - Gnanavel Raja - Event Story

The audio launch of Kalyana Samayal Saadham took place earlier this morning, 2^nd August, at the famed Sathyam Cinemas. The stage saw a gathering of big names and friends within the industry and the mood was definitely spirited. The guests included the legendary Balu Mahendra along with the likes of big names such as K.S. Ravikumar, Gnanavel Raja, UTV Dhananjayan, Rajeev Kamineni, Sasi and T.Siva. The guest list included some popular new faces such as Nalan Kumarasamy, Santhosh Narayan and others.

Speaking at the event, most of the people associated with the film expressed their gratitude to C.V.Kumar for taking over the project as they believe that his association gives the film a massive push. Those who were aware of the film’s story hinted that this isn’t going to be a run of the mill rom-com and Gnanavel Raja went further and said that Kalyana Samayal Saadham is ‘non-vegetarian’ which is what will make the film click. Adding to the hype was actress Sneha who lauded her better half Prasanna for doing a bold film such as this.

The main man of the day, Arrora – originally Naveen, received all round appreciation from his peers for having executed a complex album in his first film. K.S. Ravikumar shared his long term association with Arrora and said that he had plans of launching him as a music director but R.S. Prassana beat him to it. K.S. Ravikumar also recalled an incident where A.R.Rahman had waited for Arrora to chip in with his bit to a song for ‘Rana’ to spruce things up.

Arrora took a moment to thank his parents and his musical gurus and his godfather, K.S.Ravikumar, for being able to achieve the distinction of a music director. He appreciated the tastes of his producers and thanked them for all the efforts they took to ensure the album turned out great. The film’s director R.S.Prassana openly stated that he will only be associated with Arrora in his future endeavors.

The event drew to a close with K.S. Ravikumar unveiling the CD and Balu Mahendra receiving it.
