“I will believe in God, if that God is Ilayaraja,” Kamal
Isaignani Ilayaraja released his book ‘Paal Nila Pathai’ yesterday at the Music Academy, Chennai. Actor Kamal Haasan, the special guest at the event said, “Even if I don’t get a stage, I never stop talking about this ever youthful king (Ilayaraja). Raja sir always says I’m pretending to be an atheist, but I do believe in God. Yes, I will believe in God, if that God is Ilayaraja.”
On the occasion Kamal recollected the amazing work experience he shared with IIayaraja. “We have worked together in at least 100 films. But every time I was amazed to see him work. In fact, I have never missed a single re-recording session with him. He plays a major part in my success. I consider his friendship as the most valuable treasure in my life.”
