Unfortunately, Simbu starrer Vaalu is probably the movie with the highest number of rumour stories and negative publicity surrounding its release date. As the movie nears its scheduled release date of July 17th along with the Dhanush starrer Maari, we heard that the Madras High Court has slapped an interim stay on the release of the film.

Simbu seems to be agitated with these kind of hidden forces sabotaging the release of his film which has been in the making for the past 3 years. All are aware that his father T.Rajendar has acquired the release rights of the film. With all this frustration and also the determination (as his dad is involved), Simbu declares in a press statement that the release of his film will happen as scheduled and that he believes in the phrase "'when the going gets tough, the tough get going."
