“Thanks to Behindwoods for this” - Vijay Sethupathi

Monikered as the poster boy of indie cinema, Vijay Sethupathi is evidently one of the leading faces of the new wave trend that is lingering around the Tamil Cinema industry today.

He was awarded the Behindwoods Gold Medal for Best Acting Performance for his roles in Soodhu Kavvum and Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara in the year 2013, at the Behindwoods Gold Summit 2014. The actor appeared to be happy with the plaudits the audience gave him and the acclamation Behindwoods had bestowed on him.

“Thanks to Behindwoods for this,” he said as he held the medal and took a good look at it.

“The team has just started this initiative. Wishes to the entire Behindwoods team for their effort in supporting Tamil Cinema.”
