Manivannan’s 50^th film as a director, Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA, has cleared the censor board with a ‘U’ certificate without warranting any cuts whatsoever. The certification for this political satire has surprised quite a few members of the industry who expected the film’s content to stir up a storm.

It is being reported that only a dialogue was muted in the whole film and the censor board was otherwise satisfied with the content. Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA is the official sequel to the super-hit film from 1994, Amaithi Padai. The film stars Sathyaraj once again and will also feature Manivannan as an integral character.

The film is targetting a May Day release !
