Manivannan is back as director and he is doing a sequel to his super hit political comedy, Amaidhi Padai. Titled Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA, the film has Allakai Ammavasai from Amaidhi Padai as the central character. The film deals about his transformation as Nagaraja Cholan and his political career.
Amaidhi Padai had Satyaraj playing a double role, that of the son and father. But the upcoming sequel, which also stars Satyaraj, doesn’t offer him the double role. The son’s role has been chucked out from the script, and a role of a lorry driver, who becomes an MLA has been added, it seems.
