Big B comes to Chennai

As the 10th edition of the Chennai International Film Festival comes to an end today, a special guest will partake in the event’s closing ceremony. The legendary Amitabh Bachchan will be in Chennai today as part of the festival’s concluding affairs.

 

The function is set to happen at Woodlands theatre which also served as one of the key venues of the screenings. The festival commenced on the 13th of this month and showcased nearly 150 films from all across the world.

 

Classic Tamil films like Chandralekha too were screened. A notable inclusion in this year’s screenings was the cult Tamil gangster saga Aaranya Kaandam.
