The 10th annual Chennai International Film Festival, hosted by Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation is all set to begin on December 13th. The festival will go on for 8 days and more than 160 international films will be screened during the mega event.
Films that were censored between October 16th 2011 and October 15th 2012 are in the running at the festival. Several award winning films are set to be on view for the public’s watching pleasure. All these films will be screened in Woodlands, Woodlands Symphony, Inox (2 screens), Sathyam (2 Screens), Rani Seethai Hall and Casino.
As part of the annual competition, 12 Tamil films have been shortlisted, namely Pizza, Aravaan, Aarohanam, Attakathi, Marina, Mounaguru, Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal, Naan Ee, Neerparavai, Saattai, Sundarapandian and Vazhakku Enn 18/9. The best of the 12 will be announced at the end of the festival.
