Some time back it was announced by Behindwoods that Jiiva and Jayam Ravi were to work on a project helmed by National Award winning director (for Iyarkai), SP Jananathan. It was exciting news for the fans as Jiiva's Ee and Ravi's Peranmai had been directed by Jananathan. Jiiva and Ravi who are good buddies also seemed thrilled at the prospect of working together. It was revealed that shooting will begin once the leading duo had wrapped up pending projects.
Recently, at Toronto, Canada, Jananathan while talking to the media said that this project will be taking off soon. The director had gone to Toronto to attend the audio launch of Aadhi Bhagawan. A confirmation about the project from the director after a long time since the news of the multi-starrer surfaced should come as a great news for fans of both the actors.
Jiiva has reportedly finished shooting major portions of NEP and Endrendrum Punnagai. Ravi also is done with Aadhi Bhagawan and work on Nimirnthu Nil and Boologam is proceeding smoothly. Soon the two stars are expected to concentrate on the film with each other and Jananathan. Additional information on the rest of the cast and crew is expected shortly.
