Vivek is branching out in a big way it seems. The ace comedian is all set to make his debut in Malayalam with a film called Cowboy. He will be replacing Jagathy Sreekumar, who was injured and therefore unable to do the role. The director is P Balachandrakumar and he said that Vivek is the ideal choice for the fiilm.
When asked if he will be focusing on Malayalam films, sources close to Vivek said he has a lot to keep him busy in the Tamil film industry and he has no intention of leaving. He has a very exciting project with Santhanam which is Hari's Singham 2. He is also actively involved in social causes like the Green Kalam project which attempts to plant trees all over the state and make it more eco - friendly.
