Kalakallapu is living up to its name and it is rocking as far as the audience are concerned. Producer Dhananjayan has said that he is being besieged with offers for remakes in Malayalam and Telugu which is why the release of the film in those two states have been put off. The script has universal appeal, the producer feels. It would not be surprising if the film is remade in Bollywood as well.
In another exciting development that is sure to delight fans, the makers are thinking of a sequel for this film as they feel that there is plenty of potential for a second installment. It will be great to see Vimal, Shiva, Santhanam, Oviya and Anjali reunite again on the big screen.
