KV Anand had just returned from the shoot for Maatraan when he was deluded with questions about whether he is making a film with Rajinikanth. The director said that currently his focus is entirely on Maatran and he is very happy with the way everything has turned out so far. He added that Suriya is doing an amazing job.
About the Rajini film, KV Anand said that he would love to work with him but as of now there is nothing on the cards. He has a script in mind for his next project and it will be based on the trials and tribulations faced by assistant directors. KV Anand said that it is a film that calls for new faces so a fresh cast will be used. However, he was willing to give official details only after Maatraan is completed.
