Narain, who is known for doing serious roles in Tamil and chocolate boy roles in Malayalam, is all set to become a new member of the mass hero club. His next and much-talked about film Thambikkottai is an out-and-out masala film.
When asked about the reason for choosing such a subject, Narain says that he wants to have a mass appeal and also do a heady mix of films and not stick to serious roles.
Narain who is expecting a Tamil release after two years says that he did not take a break intentionally but was waiting for the right commercial script and Thambikkottai happened. Thambikkottai ought to have released in December 2010 but the release had been postponed and will release soon. The movie also stars Poonam Bajwa, Meena, Prabhu and Sangeetha.
