Thirty-five-year-old Rajesh Dalal, involved in planning a murderous attack on Mallika Sherawat in addition to being involved in 13 criminal cases, has been arrested. The actress incurred his anger because of her alleged caste slurs against the Jat community.
Rajesh Dalal was apprehended in 2006 for his criminal activities and was incarcerated in Tihar Jail, Delhi. After three years of imprisonment, he was granted five days parole when he requested permission to appear for an exam. Dalal did not report back and was declared missing.
The police have been searching for him since. Recently, Dalal returned to Delhi with an associate Rajeev. They had also planned an assault on an individual who had allegedly teased Dalal’s girlfriend. The duo was nabbed by the cops and a deadly weapon was found in their possession.
