Members of the Film France, which is a part of the French Film Board, met the south Indian film producers recently to highlight the benefits they would get for film shootings in that country. In this meeting, it was decided to honor Kamal Haasan and director KS Ravi Kumar with an award for shooting a major portion of Manmadhan Ambu in France.
Further, Prabhu and Ram Kumar, the producers of the Ajith-starrer Asal and its director Charan were also honored for shooting the film in some exotic locations in France.
Actor Yuhi Sethu was felicitated for his research on French cinema.
